And now, as markets recover and the Covid-19 virus recedes, Apple decided to go back to its base and send out a message to owners of 5 types of iPhone that “your time is up”, prompting them to deciding to replace their phones over the next few months if they want to keep up with the new features.

Tech nightmare

Technology and marketing specialist George Dagher said in an interview with Sky News Arabia that there are three reasons that led Apple to stop supporting some of its phones with the new system: The ability to expand into the features provided integrate.

The second reason is that from a technical point of view, Apple wants everyone to use the same operating system on similar devices and considers the existence of multiple operating systems for iPhone phones as a “technical nightmare” that hinders the renewal process.
